The Merredin Railway Water Tower is a 15 metre high tower that guides visitors into the rural town of Merredin. Located in Pioneer Park, the 1893 tower held the water that was used to operate steam locomotives for more than 60 years.
Visit the Military museum next to the tower to see Western Australia’s largest collection of military vehicles and equipment.
Head back into the town centre to discover the fascinating Merredin Railway Museum. Step back in time in this beautifully restored station and envisage life in the 1890s.
