Welcome to Mavis’s Kitchen and Cabins in Mt Warning. Set within a beautiful 25-acre farmland, our property is located at the foot of Mount Warning in the lush Tweed Valley—just an hour’s drive from either Byron Bay or Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. In this tranquil retreat, you’ll feel worlds away, but our free wi-fi means you can stay connected if you choose! Each of our unique cabins is full of charm and rustic, country character while being fully self-contained and equipped with all the modern conveniences to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. While onsite, you can sample some of the best local produce–some of it grown in our very own organic gardens, which you are free to explore–prepared by our expert chefs at the Mavis’s Kitchen restaurant. Our restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch, Friday (tapas) and Saturday (a la carte) for dinner and weekends for breakfast. Your meal at Mavis’s Kitchen reflects what’s important to us; food grown organically (in our own garden where possible), sourced locally, harvested seasonally and prepared and served with love.Our food philosophy has always been about low food miles, environmental sustainability and supporting our local community.Our aim is to create a space where people can reconnect with nature and savour the flavours of a local food experience.
